Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java, React, AWS)

We are working with a leading payments company in Dublin who are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join on an initial 6‑month daily‑rate contract. This role is fully onsite and suited to someone who can operate across backend, frontend, and cloud engineering within a high‑availability, high‑transaction environment.

Responsibilities:

• Full‑stack development across Java microservices and React UI
• Building scalable, secure, cloud‑native applications on AWS
• Contributing to architecture, solution design, and technical decision‑making
• Working closely with product, QA, and platform teams
• CI/CD, containerisation, and deployment ownership
• Ensuring performance, reliability, and engineering best practices

Required Experience:

• 7+ years software engineering experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java (Spring Boot)
• Solid commercial experience with React / TypeScript
• Strong AWS knowledge (Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch)
• Experience working on high‑transaction or payments systems desirable
• Comfortable working onsite in a fast‑paced engineering environment
